By 2024 the generative-AI ecosystem had exploded — a new control method, sampler or model format every week. The power was real, but it was scattered across scripts, forks and incompatible UIs. ArtNexus Studio is the answer to that sprawl: a single node-based desktop application where every model and technique becomes a block you can wire together.
Drag a node, connect it, watch the preview update. It treats AI art the way a compositor treats footage or a synth patch treats sound — as a graph you author, not a prompt you gamble on.

The Architecture
React, Rust, and a Python sidecar.
ArtNexus is built on Tauri rather than Electron — a lighter, faster shell. The interface is React; the application core is Rust, handling the node graph, file system and process orchestration; and the models run in a Python sidecar that the Rust core spawns and supervises. The result is a desktop app that stays lean while driving a heavyweight ML stack underneath.
The Node Graph
One block per technique.
The library covers the modern generative stack end to end. Conditioning and control: ControlNet, IPAdapter, InstantID, FaceID and embeddings. Fine-tuning and identity: LoRA with the Diffusers and UNet internals exposed. Motion: AnimateDiff. Detection and masking: SAM and YOLO. Quality: dedicated upscalers and vision models. And a built-in LLM node that writes and refines prompts for you. Weights load from GGUF and Diffusers formats and run through ONNX / TensorRT for speed.
