The Premise
A home for the creative portfolio.
Artscape is a community platform for artists, designers and makers — a place to publish a portfolio, collaborate on work with clear attribution, and find the people whose work pulls you forward. Built with Nexel Lab as a web-first product for Q1 2025.
The brief was deceptively simple: a creative network that gets out of the way. No feed noise, no vanity metrics — just the work, the people behind it, and the threads between them.

Artscape was built to let creativity thrive unbounded — a space that not only displays work but encourages the collaboration and growth around it. The Design
Quiet interface, loud work.
Every decision serves one rule: the art stays the brightest thing on screen. A restrained, near-monochrome shell, generous whitespace and a single accent — Bright Turquoise — carry the whole system, so colour reads as intent rather than decoration. The layout holds the same on desktop and mobile; only the density changes.
A creative network should disappear behind the work. Artscape is the gallery, not the noise.
